BUNDESSIEGER - ZUCHTSCHAU IN DORTMUND, GERMANY
ENFERNO! BEST OF BREED CAC/CACIB GROUP WINNER AND 3RD BEST IN SHOW FROM ALMOST TEN THOUSAND DOGS!!
The Bundessieger Show is like the Crufts of Germany, people come from all over the world to watch and exhibit at this show 75,000 in fact. We are so over the moon that Enferno has again been placed highly amongst the other breeds, winning the Group and becoming 3rd Best in Show from 10,000 is amazing this has to be our biggest achievement so far......
Nik, Stephen and Bart travelled with only 3 dogs to the 3 day show with the National show being held in the same venue the following day. At the Nationale Zuchtschau ENFERNO again won BEST OF BREED CAC and CACIB, our boy TITO won the Reserve Best male award RCAC and RCACIB and the beautiful RENAIS won Best female CAC and CACIB. So again we took the maximum we possibly could with our 3 dogues. Its times like this when we realise how much we owe to our boy APOLLO who is the sire to Enferno, Tito and Renais.

Enferno - Over the past few months we have been overwhelmed with the comments we have received from Judges from all around the world. Many have said he is in a different league to his competitors at some of the shows he has attended and one of the best dogues they have ever seen. Enferno really has done wonders for our breed and we hear all the time about world renowned judges talking about how incredible he is. It was also great to see him passing his TAN test at the French clubmatch this year with ALL the judges shaking the maximum score a dog could possibly get which is 5 out of 5.

Many of the International judges have said they have never seen a Bordeaux move like he does, Its one thing to have a dog that looks stunning standing still but its another thing for it to move like it should with power, drive and enthusiasm, thats a true quality Dogue de Bordeaux. Nik has to virtually sprint around the ring just to keep up with Enferno, who never loses his gait even at a very fast speed. He was born to be in the big ring up with the other breeds and has proved him self time and time again up against some of the Best Show dogs in Europe.

Enferno winning what he has won is not only good news for us but is good news for the breed, proving the Dogue De Bordeaux is more than worthy of winning the group and even more, BEST IN SHOW at and Interntional show level. Enferno has made history for our breed many times now and I dont think there has ever been a dogue to win the group in 3 different countries before (Holland, Ireland, Germany) Not to mention group 2 in Belgium and his latest Best in show and Reserve Best in Show at Ireland and Holland. Its fabulous for us to have Enferno in the big ring against other breeds but its also important for us that he has won the 2 UK club shows he has attended and not to forget his HUGE win of BEST IN SHOW at the DUTCH CLUBMATCH!!
Critique By Mr Ken Sinclaire at Birmingham national Championship show - This was EASILY WON BY Enferno Van De Paterhoek, a quality animal of great substance, a very distinctive large head, good expression, pronounced stop forming a near right angle with the muzzle.correct furrow with symetrical wrinkles on each side of the median groove, strong muscular neck, merging smoothly into well laid shoulders, well developed deep bodied chest, well sprung ribs, so sound on the move, correct thick loose fitting skin, in fit condition, A GREAT MODEL FOR THIS BREED!
