But to top of a great month we attended
one of the biggest shows in France (Special) which was held
in Angers, it was a long trip but well worth it. We took Tito,
Moby and Annie to the show and Annie won Best
female CAC and CACIB and Moby won Best of Breed
and Enferno won RCAC and Tito came second in
his huge class of much older dogs and he's only 11 months
old! Also our good friend Claire and Stephen with their Apollo
daughter Renais won another Best Youth Female! There were
61 entries, Judge Giusseppe Novaresio who has
previously judged both the french and Dutch Clubmatch.
We are overjoyed especially with Annies
win and we are proving time and time again that we can win
at the most well attended shows in Europe. We could be just
travelling to the less popular shows in Europe but I think
you earn more respect if do well at the big events, its a
bigger gamble but the feeling of coming 1st out of a couple
of dogs is no where near the feeling of winning alot of dogs
especially in France where the competition is tough! When
our dogs become champion we want it to feel like they truly
deserved it!
We traveled to this show with Moby,
Annie, Tito and Renais and coming home with Enferno, knowing
how difficult it is to win in France as very few English dogs
have done well at the well attended events. We are so pleased
we did as all five of them were placed and won both dog and
Bitch CAC's, RCAC and a youth win!
