2009 OUR MOST SUCCESSFUL YEAR YET!

In our opinion there are now 5 top shows every year for the Dogue De Bordeaux!
Crufts
The French Clubmatch
The Dutch Clubmatch
The European Dog Show
The World Dog Show
and not only have we took BEST OF BREED at them ALL in 2009 but at most we have done the "double" and at some also took the youth wins and reserves!

Except for Crufts as 2009 was the very first time for our breed, Not only did we take Best of Breed in 2009 at all of the above shows but we did it for the 2ND YEAR RUNNING and some for the 3RD!

Since the Dogue De Bordeaux have been promoted from the Import Register to the breed register we are the only kennel who have taken the award of TOP DOG firstly with Enferno and then with Skye but in 2009 not only did Skye take TOP DOG but Tito took Top Male making us the 1st and currently only kennel who have the taken top spots with a male and female in one year since coming off the import register! We were also delighted to here the news that home bred male Emberez Apollo took TOP STUD DOG in 2009 which is a HUGE tribute to Apollo.

Another achievement of 2009 that makes us proud is how many "DOUBLES" we took at UK Champ Shows, taking Best of Breed is an honor in its self but for the judge to honor your kennel with Best opposite sex too is something we can only dream of. In 2009 we did the double at 8 Championship shows, we took both awards at Crufts, Blackpool, Border Union, Bath, Windsor, NWPB, Leeds and SKC under many of the UK's top all rounder's. (not including the European shows where we have done the double)
Again no-one in this breed has ever achieved as many Best of Breeds in the UK as we have and no-one has has come close to winning as many doubles!


We would like to take this opportunity to thank "ALL" of the judges that have thought so much of all of our dogs to have awarded them so highly!

Again like the beginning of last year we have new up and coming dogs to hit the ring this year and we are thankful to have had such a successful breeding program that has allowed us to come out again with young dogs that we couldn't be more proud of.


A year we will never forget.

2010 shows a great start for us already! On the 9th January at our first show and the UK's first championship show Skye took BEST of BREED at Boston Show under judge Mr Frank Wildman and at

Manchester Champ Show on the 23rd January not only did we take Best of Breed with Skye but we did the DOUBLE again by taking Best male and Best Puppy with Tommygun and our kennels won every female class including reserve Best female with Eazy under molosser judge Glynn Payne.
